We are pleased to explore rental opportunities for our customers. Renting out our main hall is an excellent chance to save on smaller events like reunions, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, engagement parties, and more. Our large and comfortable space can be easily transformed into the perfect backdrop for your special day. Our goal is to make your event as pleasant, easy, and memorable as possible.

Rental FAQs

How much does the rental cost?

Rental costs start at $700 for Fridays and Sundays and $1,200 for Saturdays.

Breakdown of rental fees for Fridays and Sundays: $700 per 100 people. The allocated time for rental of the main hall is 6 hours including set-up and clean-up time. Any additional guest costs $7.00 each.

Breakdown of rental fees for Saturdays: $1,200 per 100 people. The allocated time for rental of the main hall is 6 hours including set-up and clean-up time. Any additional guest costs $12.00 each.

Please note that for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays there is a mandatory fee for the set-up and break-down of tables and chairs of $60.00 per each 100 guests. Please note that all sales are taxable.

How soon can I rent it?

Openings for rentals start on January 2nd of the current year for the calendar year only. You can rent as soon as you need to, upon availability.

Can I bring my own caterer?

Yes, you can. Catering services must be provided by companies or individuals approved by Sherwin Gilmour Party Center. Kitchen may be used to warm and hold food. No food preparation is allowed on the premises (except beverage preparation).

Can I bring my own liquor?

As a holder of a state-granted liquor license, the SherwinGilmour Party Center is not permitted to accept any outside liquors. We are happy to customize your liquor by offering you different bar options including open and cash bar. More information can be found by visiting the Liquor Package page.

Do you provide decorations?

We include ceiling draping and up-lighting as apart of out hall rental. You are responsible for any table and chair decoration, but we are happy to recommend you a list of our preferred vendors.

How many hours does the rental include?

The rental time is 6 hours including any set-up of decorations and clean-up after your party.  You can have more time by paying an hourly rate of $1.00 per person with a $150.00 minimum.

Is a security guard required?

A uniformed security guard, bonded and licensed by the City of Mayfield Hts., must be in attendance at all times during an evening event, provided at the renter’s expense ($35/hour). Sherwin Gilmour Party Center reserves the right to require a security guard at daytime events depending on the nature of the event

How much is the deposit to hold the date?

You need to put down a non-refundable deposit of 30% of total rental cost.

The total balance is due seven (7) days prior to function either by bank check or money order. Credit card payment is subject to a 3.5% processing fee.

Are there any exta fees?

Yes, a refundable payment of $250.00 in cash is required the same day of the event (this deposit may be increased depending on the nature of the event and number of attendees). Typically the deposit is refunded immediatley following the event, as long as all required cleaning stipulations have been met.

Are there any discounts available?

Sunday rental can be reduced to $500 for any kind of event with less than 100 attendees that ends by 4 pm.
